The Way to Home
This children’s book design is inspired by my childhood memories. Growing up, I lived in a community without streetlights and old, rundown buildings. This often triggered vivid, scary images in my imagination. However, as long as my mom was upstairs, waiting by the open door, I would find the courage to walk up. But if no one was home, the fear would intensify endlessly.
In the initial stages of creation, I sketched 10 thumbnails to explore the story. Over time, I refined the concept and condensed in into three key illustrations, each capturing the essence of the narrative.
